Beetlejuice, also known as Betelgeuse, is a bio-exorcist character first appearing in the 1988 horror-comedy film Beetlejuice, portrayed by Michael Keaton.
Beetlejuice is a mischievous and crass ghost who offers his services to the recently deceased Adam and Barbara Maitland, a young couple trying to rid their home of its new living occupants. He is known for his chaotic personality, love of pranks, and willingness to bend or break the rules of the afterlife.
